It is becoming official (part 1)

Hey

I am studying photojournalism as my elective this year (and as my final year of studies of Journalism and Media Studies). I had the experience of building and putting together my first proper portfolio. Regardless of the amount of work I had to do towards the end of the term and pulling an all-nighter in the labs, I had lots of fun doing this. I have learnt a lot from the process and now know how to do better. After looking and working on these pictures for so long, I have grown to love and dislike some of my pictures. That does not change how proud I am of my work and of what I have learnt. I am even more excited to keep learning and adding on to my skills with every new photo I take.

New year, new adventures!!

Hello and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Well, I have been lucky enough to be far from home and call a new land my new home. In the midst of all this travelling, I have been fortunate enough to visit one of the fastest growing countries in the world, The United Arab Emirates. Many pictures were taken, yet, only a select few will be shared here. No picture does justice to what the Emirates really are and everyone should, even if it is only once, one day visit the UAE - definitely worth it.

Sheffield, United Kingdom

Hello,

I recently travelled to Sheffield for the first time, after my sister lived there for a year, so I could watch her graduation ceremony. It was the quickest trip to Europe I have ever made, yet one I shall never forget. I was there for two days and while roaming the town with my sister, I managed to get some shots of what the city looks like. I loved going there and would definitely go there again.
Once again, well done Lara on your Master's! :)
