UBOM!

Hey

A couple of weeks ago a friend of mine asked me to photograph a drama production that was put together for some school children. They came in every morning for some activities and games under the sun, then were taken into the theatre to watch the performance. Even though is was a play for the children, I was highly entertained while taking the photographs and thought the production was well done. This was the first time I took photos in low light, and they came noisy, but I still love them.

Here are some of the pics I took of the production, and if you are interested in seeing more of what UBOM! is and does, check out their Facebook page here.

It is becoming official (part 1)

Hey

I am studying photojournalism as my elective this year (and as my final year of studies of Journalism and Media Studies). I had the experience of building and putting together my first proper portfolio. Regardless of the amount of work I had to do towards the end of the term and pulling an all-nighter in the labs, I had lots of fun doing this. I have learnt a lot from the process and now know how to do better. After looking and working on these pictures for so long, I have grown to love and dislike some of my pictures. That does not change how proud I am of my work and of what I have learnt. I am even more excited to keep learning and adding on to my skills with every new photo I take.

One dream has become a reality!!!!!

Hey,

I love music, listen to music everyday and research a lot of music. I love all different genres and listen to them in various occasions. One of my favourite artists is Michael Bublé and I can listen to him sing all day, everyday. His talent, voice and performance is amazing. Lucky for me, with the help from my father, I have had the luck and privilege to watch him live. The show was amazing and unforgettable. It was more than what I has hoped for. No professional cameras were allowed in the arena, so my cell camera had to do the trick. From all the blurry photos and videos I took, the best was of eh finale, which was, like the entire show, spectacular. Here is the pic of the finale which I just have to share with you all.

New year, new adventures!!

Hello and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Well, I have been lucky enough to be far from home and call a new land my new home. In the midst of all this travelling, I have been fortunate enough to visit one of the fastest growing countries in the world, The United Arab Emirates. Many pictures were taken, yet, only a select few will be shared here. No picture does justice to what the Emirates really are and everyone should, even if it is only once, one day visit the UAE - definitely worth it.
