Well, on my way back home I spotted this old broken down truck and thought it was cool. The rust, missing pieces and it's 'antique' look. If only I had my proper camera and time, I would probably gotten cooler shots of it...anyways, here is an idea.

It is a Secret!

Last night, boredom and mass procrastination got the best of me. With that I decided to take pictures of random objects I could find around me and decided on my glasses (shades) and a lock. I have a mild obsession for glasses and always seem to be adding to my collection. I own 2 brand glasses and the others are just cool like that :P The lock on the other hand is an ordinary lock to which I have misplaced the keys to open it and am too lazy to look for them anyway - oh well! I love how the details of the lock have come out and how the textures are reflected...amazing stuff. From the shades, the best picture is of my 3 pairs: red, blue and green that have the same shape, wanna-be same brand and bold colours!

Recently, I was lucky enough to watch Coldplay perform live in Johannesburg, South Africa and managed to take some pictures during the show. I have been a Coldplay fan for a while and love their music. Watching them live was amazing and life changing. Like Hans Erskog once told his daughter who then preached it to me (somewhere along these lines) "You get BC and AC - before Coldplay and after Coldplay" I am proud and happy to say I now live in AC, with the thousands of other fans that watched their show around the world! The songs that touched my heart were: Fix You, Viva la Vida, The Hardest Part, Lost, Clocks, Life in Technicolour, The Scientist, Speed of Sound, Wait for me and their new hit, which the Jo'burg show features in, Paradise!!! It was an unforgettable experience and cannot wait for another opportunity to watch them live again.

There are just too many pictures to display them all individually, so I have made collages with the best shots I got. Hope you love the pictures as much as I do

Here are the last pictures of the photo shoot I had with Andrea :( It was fun and even though they took long to come up, they have made their way in - woop wooop! Well, it has been a long time since I last posted something. In this time of absence, I have been taking photos and learning a lot from friends and research i've done. I was invited by my friend Fiona to take pictures of our friend Dee who needed a portfolio for her modelling. It was a lot of fun doing the photo shoot and it allowed me to learn a lot of things about taking photos, common mistakes I make and how to criticise pictures and what is considered a good photo. Today the tables are turning once again as I am posting a picture of myself taken y someone else. This is a look I tried for the first time and really liked it - with all the compliments I got. These pictures I took are one of my favourite I have taken of Mikaela. Here, she wears an old green dress that still looks as good as new. The design of the dress is very old school yet, with the right accessories, it can still be a hit today. The material of this dress is amazing and the bold green colour of the dress is very vibrant. Definitely love this one, <3, hope you do too!
